The house is nestled in the heart of the welsh countryside,

Relax outside and enjoy the views from the comfort of the balcony, in this haven for birds and wildlife. A whole host of birds can be seen feeding at our bird tables including Spotted Woodpeckers and Goldfinches.

You may even be lucky enough to see a ‘hare’ who has been known to sleep on the doorstep!

We have a Nature Trail around the farm for guests to enjoy, it passes the beautiful lake adjacent to Three Wells Farm Hotel With a various walks starting from the house, and a superb selection of walks locally, there is something for everyone, from a gentle stroll to hiking along a mountain pass.

With two of the National Trails, Glyndwr’s Way & Offa’s Dyke nearby and just 25 miles away the spectacular Brecon Beacons National Park.

There are so many little market towns to explore with their local farmers markets and a whole host of events and attractions to visit throughout the year.

If you enjoy a day in the saddle, we have two riding stables at Penybont. There are superb mountain bike trails and bridleways to explore, we have facilities to store your bike or horse for the night !! 

Maybe you would prefer a few rounds of Golf, we have some stunning local courses. Builth Wells offers a picturesque parkland course, where as Llandrindod’s Links are challenging and not for the faint-hearted. And there’s more….

Whatever the time of year .... Acorn Court is an ideal location for walking, cycling ( Bikes are available to hire in Rhayader), touring, exploring or just relaxing in the Heart of Wales.
